STORM ANNOUNCES SIX PLAYER SIGNINGS AS ROSTER CONTINUES TO TAKE SHAPE

Storm Add Six New Pieces Across Defense, Offense and the Trenches

MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON — September 2, 2026 — The North Sound Storm are continuing to build something special.

The organization is proud to officially announce the signing of six players who will join the Storm as the team continues assembling its roster: Bryan Sarnowski (LB), Joey Peterson (WR), Tequavlus “TQ” Smith (LB), Jason Balangue (Lineman), Timothy Hill-Thomas (LB), and Andre Anderson III (S).

The group brings a combination of physicality, speed, experience, leadership and football intelligence — qualities the Storm believe will help establish the team's identity on both sides of the ball.

BRYAN SARNOWSKI — LINEBACKER

Sarnowski brings toughness and leadership to the Storm defense after previously playing for the Washington Wolfpack in the AF1.

A strong and aggressive linebacker, Sarnowski is the type of player who brings intensity every time he steps onto the field. His physical style, leadership and relentless mentality make him a valuable addition to the Storm defense.

He's not just a linebacker.

He's a dawg.

JOEY PETERSON — WIDE RECEIVER

The Storm offense is adding another weapon with the signing of Joey Peterson.

Previously of the Everett Royals, Peterson brings quickness, confidence and a high football IQ to the receiving corps. His ability to move in space, read defenses and create opportunities makes him a legitimate threat every time the ball is in his direction.

Peterson has the speed to stretch a defense and the intelligence to find its weaknesses.

Defensive backs, consider yourselves warned.

TEQUAVLUS “TQ” SMITH — LINEBACKER

The Storm defense gets another physical presence with Tequavlus “TQ” Smith.

After stepping away from football for a year while serving in the United States Navy, Smith is returning to the game with something to prove.

Known for his aggressive playing style, physicality and ability to deliver punishment, TQ brings a different level of intensity to the linebacker room.

He's been away.

He's trained.

Now he's back.

And he's ready to make his presence felt.

JASON BALANGUE — LINEMAN

The Storm are adding size, strength and intimidation in the trenches with Jason Balangue.

Balangue brings a powerful physical presence to the offensive and defensive lines. At his size and strength, he is capable of making his presence felt in the trenches and creating problems for anyone lined up across from him.

Football games are won in the trenches, and the Storm are building accordingly.

Big. Strong. Physical. Uncomfortable to play against.

That's exactly what North Sound wants up front.

TIMOTHY HILL-THOMAS — LINEBACKER

The Storm continue to fortify their defense with the addition of Timothy Hill-Thomas.

Hill-Thomas is a strong, aggressive linebacker who plays with a physical edge and isn't afraid to attack the football. His mentality fits perfectly with the identity North Sound is building on defense.

With Sarnowski, Smith and Hill-Thomas joining the linebacker group, the Storm are putting together a unit built around physicality, aggression and accountability.

North Sound is bringing the pressure.

ANDRE ANDERSON III — SAFETY

The final piece of this six-player announcement comes in the secondary.

Andre Anderson III joins the Storm at safety, adding another athletic and intelligent presence to the defensive backfield.

At safety, Anderson will be tasked with helping command the back end of the defense, making reads, supporting against the run and creating problems for opposing passing attacks.

His addition gives the Storm another important piece as the secondary begins to take shape.

Nothing gets easy when the Storm defense is watching from the back end.

SIX SIGNINGS. ONE IDENTITY.

With six new players officially joining the organization, the North Sound Storm are beginning to establish the kind of roster they want to take onto the field.

Physical linebackers.
A dangerous receiving threat.
Size and strength in the trenches.
A hard-hitting defensive identity.
And a secondary built to make offenses think twice.

But this isn't simply about adding names to a roster.

It's about building a culture.

The Storm are looking for players who are willing to work, compete, lead and represent the North Sound community with pride.

Sarnowski. Peterson. Smith. Balangue. Hill-Thomas. Anderson.

Six new Storm.

One mission.

One standard.

One hell of a storm coming.

Welcome to the North Sound Storm.
