NORTH SOUND STORM IS BUILDING MORE THAN A FOOTBALL TEAM

NORTH SOUND, WASHINGTON — The North Sound Storm is entering the West Coast Pacific Minor League with a purpose that extends far beyond the football field.

As a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Storm was built around the belief that football can be a vehicle for opportunity, connection, and positive change. While competition will always be at the heart of the organization, the vision reaches much further than wins and losses.

The North Sound Storm is committed to creating opportunities for athletes to continue pursuing the game, develop their skills, build confidence, and compete in an environment that values accountability, discipline, and growth. At the same time, the organization is focused on becoming an active member of the communities it represents, from Shoreline through the North Sound and into Skagit County.

That commitment includes supporting youth, participating in community initiatives, developing meaningful partnerships, and creating experiences that bring families and football fans together.

“We want people to understand that this is bigger than football,” said North Sound Storm leadership. “The scoreboard is important, but the impact we have on athletes, families, and our community is what will define this organization.”

The Storm is being built with the long term in mind. From its players and coaching staff to its community partnerships and supporters, every piece of the organization is intended to contribute to something that can grow well beyond its inaugural season.

North Sound Storm isn't here simply to add another football team to the region. It's here to create a standard, provide opportunity, and give the North Sound an organization it can rally behind.
