NORTH SOUND STORM ANNOUNCES FIRST TWO PLAYER SIGNINGS

Bryan Sarnowski and Joey Peterson Join the Storm as North Sound Builds Its Roster

SHORELINE, WASHINGTON — August 31, 2026 — The North Sound Storm are officially putting the league on notice.

As the Storm continue building a roster designed to compete from day one, the organization is proud to announce the signing of linebacker Bryan Sarnowski and wide receiver Joey Peterson.

Two players. Two different skill sets. One common denominator: they bring an edge.

BRYAN SARNOWSKI — LINEBACKER

The Storm defense just got a whole lot nastier.

Bryan Sarnowski joins North Sound after previously playing for the Washington Wolfpack in the AF1, bringing experience, physicality and the kind of mentality that coaches love to have on the field.

Sarnowski is a strong, aggressive and instinctive linebacker who plays the game with purpose. He is the type of defender who brings energy to every snap and refuses to take plays off. More than just a physical presence, Sarnowski is a natural leader whose voice and intensity can set the tone for an entire defense.

He is, quite simply, an absolute dawg.

The Storm believe leadership starts long before kickoff, and Sarnowski brings the mentality, toughness and accountability that North Sound wants at the heart of its defense.

When Bryan Sarnowski is on the field, offenses better know where he is.

JOEY PETERSON — WIDE RECEIVER

And then there is the problem the Storm are bringing to opposing defenses.

Joey Peterson joins North Sound after previously playing for the Everett Royals, bringing speed, football intelligence and an ability to create problems for defenses in multiple ways.

Peterson is quick, shifty and dangerous in space, but his biggest weapon may be his football IQ. He understands how defenses work, recognizes opportunities and knows how to turn a small opening into a big play.

He has the kind of personality and confidence that makes him difficult to defend — witty, competitive and always looking for the next opportunity to make a play.

For opposing defensive backs, Peterson represents the kind of matchup that can quickly become a long afternoon.

Give him space, and he'll take it. Give him an opening, and he'll make you pay.

THE STORM IS STARTING TO TAKE SHAPE

The signings of Sarnowski and Peterson represent more than adding two names to a roster. They represent the type of players North Sound Storm intends to build around — tough, intelligent, competitive athletes who bring personality, leadership and an unwillingness to back down.

The Storm aren't interested in simply filling a roster.

They're building a team with an identity.

Physical on defense. Dangerous on offense. Relentless from the opening whistle.

And these are only the first pieces.

The Storm is forming.

Welcome to North Sound, Bryan Sarnowski and Joey Peterson.
